Tiger - Rascal - Medium - Young - Female - Cat
Rascal and her brothers, Butterball and Whiskers, sought food and shelter in a yard in Rancho Sahuarita in October. A young boy saw them and pointed them out to his grandmother. Since the boy is allergic to cats, they couldnt bring them in the house but they fed them and provided shelter for them outside. Rascal is much smaller than Butterball although their color makes them almost identical. She is quite friendly, loves people, playing and being brushed. She and Butterball would make a perfect pair of older kittens for a family or individual. She is spayed and up to date on shots Effective January 1, adoption fees are as follows: $50 for 1 cat; $75 for 2 cats; special needs cats $25 for 1, $35 for 2. SPECIAL for Active military may adopt for 1/2 the current adoption rate. And in case of transfer or deployment, Paws Patrol will always take the cat back and place it in a foster home until you return. Please refer to your adoption packet to see all the veterinary tests and procedures that have already been done. Now your new kitty can also have a wellness check at Valley Verde Clinic. But you must make the appointment within seven to ten days of the adoption date and tell them this is a kitty from Paws Patrol. Seniors age 65 or older and disabled persons of any age may qualify to adopt one cat over 6 months of age free of charge. All members of the household must be at least age 50. For full details, please contact Paws Patrol. Paws Patrol believes in home visits to insure the best match and safety for our cats. We may request a visit prior to adopting, and again after the adoption to insure the cat is fitting in, is secure and has adequate care. If you object to a home visit, please say so before starting the adoption process. Paws Patrol does not allow declawing. They will show you how to trim claws. If you insist on having a declawed cat, please look for a cat that has previously been declawed Since we are a small community-based group with limited resources and membership, our TNR service area is Sahuarita to Nogales only. We are unable to service the feral or stray cats of Tucson. We do adopt to anywhere in Southern Arizona. Paws Patrol cats and kittens live in foster homes which provides them with the love and special attention they deserve. Paws Patrol cats are to be INDOOR ONLY cats.
